VegStyle

Brief

Build a complete dating and community platform for vegetarians, vegans and people with a similar lifestyle. Not a presentation website, but an application with user accounts, profiles and a safe environment for dating and building a community.

Solution

An application built around the user, with an emphasis on privacy and safety.

• Registration and user accounts with sign-in
• Profiles with a choice between anonymity and a fully public profile
• Location-based search and an interactive member map with a distance filter
• Advanced filters by diet, lifestyle, interests and sports
• Privacy and safety: control over photos and contacts, blocklist, reporting, personal data protection
• Forums and themed groups for the community
• Responsive, app-like interface

Result

VegStyle is a finished dating and community platform, not just a website. It shows I can handle a complex web application with accounts, a map, filters, messages and well-thought-out privacy and moderation. It completes the full range of what I can build.
