How I handle the data you send me through the form on this website.

This is a translation for convenience. In case of doubt, the Czech version prevails.

Data controller

The controller of personal data is [TO FILL IN: name / company], company ID (IČO) [TO FILL IN], registered at [TO FILL IN address], e-mail info@it-online.cz.

What data I process

I only process the data you fill in yourself in the enquiry or contact form:

  • your name or company name,
  • your e-mail address,
  • the content of your message and the services you selected.

The website requires no registration and collects no other personal data.

Purpose and legal basis

I use the data solely to handle your enquiry and for the follow-up communication. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and my legitimate interest in handling the enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention period

I keep the data for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, at most [TO FILL IN: e.g. 12 months] from our last communication. If we start working together, for the duration of the cooperation and then for the period required by law.

Recipients and processors

The following processors, with whom I have the appropriate agreements, may have access to the data:

  • WEDOS Internet, a.s.: hosting and e-mail provider (storing the website and delivering messages).
  • Cloudflare, Inc.: spam protection for forms (Cloudflare Turnstile).

I do not pass data to third parties for marketing purposes. Some processors may process data outside the EU on the basis of standard contractual clauses under the GDPR.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz). To exercise your rights, contact me at info@it-online.cz.

Visitor statistics

To measure visits I use my own statistics running on my web hosting. It stores no cookies or other data on your device and does not track you across websites. A one-way fingerprint is made from your IP address (with its last part removed) and browser details; it changes every day, so you cannot be recognised the next day. The IP address itself is never stored.

I store the address of the page visited, the referring website, country, language, device and browser type, screen width, time on page, page loading speed and clicks on contact links. Detailed records are deleted after 90 days; only aggregate figures are kept. The data is not passed to third parties. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is measured. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and improving it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
